Wild Lava

Description

Wild Lava is an online slot developed by Playtech that brings the action to a tropical island dominated by an active volcano. The game uses a grid of 5 reels and 40 paylines, with symbols inspired by the island's nature and cultures. The main mechanic revolves around collecting Wild symbols and volcanic eruptions, which can return the collected Wilds to the grid. The game also features free spins and a moving Wild feature.

Graphics and Symbols

The setting of Wild Lava combines a tropical island with a volcano overlooking the game grid. The symbols evoke natural elements and traditional objects, while vivid colours and eruption animations emphasise the volcanic theme.

The Wild symbol can substitute for other symbols that contribute to winning combinations, except for the Scatter. During the game, Wilds can be accumulated for the eruption feature: when the volcano activates, the collected symbols can be redistributed across the grid.

Features and Bonuses

The game is played on a grid of 5 reels with 40 paylines. Its special features are based on collecting Wilds, volcanic eruptions and free spins.

The eruption feature connects the main game phase with Wild collection. The free spins mode provides further opportunities to combine symbols on the grid and can be retriggered when the Scatter combination specified in the rules appears.
