Pyramid LinX

Description

Pyramid LinX is an online slot developed by Playtech and set in ancient Egypt, among pyramids, precious artefacts and symbols inspired by the civilisation of the pharaohs. The game combines an archaeological setting with a reel-based structure and several bonus mechanics, including the Wild LinX feature and two Free Games modes.

One of its key features is the Wild LinX feature, which can be triggered when the required symbol combinations appear on the playing grid. During this feature, the Circle, X and Gold X symbols can reveal cash prizes and, under certain conditions, jackpot prizes. The presence of special symbols and multiple bonus modes introduces variations compared with standard spins.

The slot also offers a Free Games feature that can be triggered by Pyramid Scatter symbols. When activated, players can choose between two modes: Book Free Games and X Free Games, each with its own specific characteristics. On Swiss4Win, Pyramid LinX is listed as having high volatility, an RTP of 94.91%, a minimum bet of CHF 0.10 and a maximum bet of CHF 80.00.

Graphics and Symbols: A Journey into Ancient Egypt

Design and Atmosphere

Pyramid LinX evokes the world of ancient Egypt through pyramids, hidden treasures and symbols associated with the pharaohs. The setting complements a game structure featuring reels arranged in a pyramid-inspired formation. Special symbols stand out from standard ones and play an important role in activating bonus features.

The design combines classic slot elements with mechanics that require players to observe the combinations on the game grid. The Wild LinX feature and the two Free Games modes are central to the experience, alongside instant prizes and opportunities to access jackpots during the dedicated feature.

Symbols

The game uses standard and special symbols, each with a specific function in winning combinations or bonus mechanics.

• Standard Symbols – Include figures and decorative objects inspired by the Egyptian setting, used to form winning combinations.
• Pyramid Scatter – Three or more Pyramid symbols can trigger the Free Games feature.
• Wild Pyramid – Replaces symbols as specified by the rules of Book Free Games mode and contributes to the conditions for earning additional free spins.
• Circle Symbol – Contributes to triggering the Wild LinX feature and may display a cash prize.
• X Symbol – May reveal a prize during the Wild LinX feature.
• Gold X Symbol – Is associated with the reveal of special prizes, including the jackpots available through the feature.

Sound Effects and Soundtrack

The audiovisual component complements the Egyptian setting and the different stages of the game. The information available in the game's description does not detail the soundtrack or individual audio effects; the focus is therefore primarily on the visual theme, special symbols and bonus features.

Features and Bonuses: Wild LinX, Free Games and Jackpots

Pyramid LinX offers several mechanics that enhance standard spins. The Wild LinX feature reveals prizes through Circle, X and Gold X symbols, while the Free Games feature allows players to choose between two bonus modes. The activation conditions and how each mode works depend on the symbols that appear on the game grid.

Wild LinX Feature

The Wild LinX feature is one of the main mechanics in Pyramid LinX. When the required combination of Circle, X and Gold X symbols occurs, the feature is triggered, and the prizes displayed by the Circle symbols are added to the feature's total. The player then selects the X and Gold X symbols to reveal their respective prizes until all the designated prizes have been uncovered.

The Gold X symbols can reveal one of the four jackpots: Mini, Minor, Major and Grand. Each prize has a specific associated value. The outcome of the feature depends on the symbols and prizes actually revealed during the bonus round.

Free Games: Book Free Games

When at least three Pyramid symbols land in any position, the Free Games feature is triggered and a choice between two modes is offered. Selecting Book Free Games awards 10 free spins. During this mode, Pyramid symbols are replaced by Wild Pyramid symbols, and an expanding special symbol is randomly selected. It can occupy all three positions on its reel.

If at least three Wild Pyramid symbols appear in any position during Book Free Games, an additional 10 free spins may be awarded. Combinations are evaluated according to the rules and paytable specific to this mode.

Free Games: X Free Games

Selecting X Free Games awards 5 free spins. This mode retains the paylines and symbol paytable of the main game but increases the chance of triggering the Wild LinX feature. Three or more Pyramid symbols appearing simultaneously on the game grid award an additional 5 free spins.

Volatility and Betting Limits

Swiss4Win lists Pyramid LinX as having high volatility and an RTP of 94.91%. The minimum bet is CHF 0.10 and the maximum bet is CHF 80.00. RTP represents a theoretical value calculated over a large number of spins and does not guarantee the outcome of a single session.
